By poplar demand, we have now added the ability to set your email
notification preferences at the time your links are created. Many
members have described the potential for this feature to save time.

September 04, 2002:
The LinkCounter Members-Only Forums are LIVE! Check out the new boards
and enter into discussions with other LinkCounter.com members. And
it's not all business either. We put up 2 fun boards - Pot Luck and
Football Smack Shack. Mike and I both look forward to seeing you there!
August 27, 2002:
The LinkCounter Members Directory is launched. The members-only directory
will allow all LinkCounter members to list their web site profile
for other members to see. The directory will go hand in hand with
the soon-to-be released member forums and will allow members to contact
each other if they so desire. If you haven't listed your web site,
do so now for the exposure!
July 25, 2002:
Our support form is now hosted on a secure server. Although we don't
ask for sensitive data on the form, you have asked for it to be secure
and we will oblige. The LinkCounter Affiliate Program is taking us
a bit longer than we had expected. We hope to be able to launch this
sometime in August. The member forums are a bit ahead of schedule
and should be released soon. I will be asking for moderators before
going online. Please keep us in mind if you are interested in helping
on the boards as a moderator. I will announce more info on that soon.
July 18, 2002:
LinkCounter is now fully in pay mode. All accounts will remain active
until August 1st. After that, only paying members will have access
to the service. We now forge ahead with the added features we have
in store. Stay turned to this page for news and updates. And thank
you very much for your support!
July 16, 2002:
Tomorrow is it. LinkCounter will officially transform from a free
service to a pay service. Although it was our goal to remain free,
we simply cannot support the service any longer with traditional advertising.
Stay tuned for exciting news tomorrow, July 17th, announcing "special
pricing" for EXISTING LinkCounter members. Existing members will be
offered an one-time special deal. And as always, we deeply appreciate
your continued support.

A few minor bugs have been squashed. For all intent and purposes,
the new LinkCounter.com has performed above our highest expectations!
I'm very excited about the extra stability in place and all of the
great new features we've added. We've also added a comment "slash"

Many new features added, including our new REFERRAL FEATURE. You will
love this one. Set up one link and put it on as many pages as you
like. LinkCounter will now track it and report to you WHERE the traffic
came from! Also added - Hourly Stats, Sortable Stats, Unique Tracking,
Graphs and much more. Login to the members area now to see all of
the new features.

The NEW LinkCounter is launched! In an effort to be the BEST in our
field, LinkCounter.com is now cleaner, faster, and "AD-FREE" for all
members. No banners, no pop-ups. Kudos to Mike for the great job.
